Springsteen has undergone treatment for stomach ulcer-related problems and, on the advice of doctors, will continue to recover for the rest of the year.

Springsteen, who turned 74 on September 23, and The E Street Band kicked off the tour – the first in six years – in February in Tampa, Florida, and played three sold-out nights at Ullevi in Gothenburg in late June.
Since then, he has been forced to cancel concerts on several occasions due to illness. New dates for the canceled concerts will be announced next week.
