Two men face charges after being accused of creating a disturbance at a Lynden Road restaurant.

Brantford Police responded to a call at about 9:30 pm Thursday, September 14, indicating that two men were creating a disturbance for other bosses.

A verbal dispute escalated to physical violence and, when asked to leave the premises, further threats of violence were made, said police.
Allegedly, one of the accused assaulted two employees, while the other accused assaulted an employee and threw a stool at another worker.
Police located the men, who are not residents of Brantford, inside a vehicle that was trying to leave the parking lot and took them into custody.
The driver showed signs of impairment, and two breath samples were over the legal limit.
A 50-year-old male is charged with two counts of assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration, and mischief – interfere with lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property.
A 41-year-old male is charged with assault, assault with a weapon, mischief under $5,000, and the same mischief charge as the co-accused.
