The man himself came to the police last fall and said that he had the remains of another person in his apartment, which was then confirmed during a house search. He later admitted that he caused the man’s death, but denied murder. On the other hand, he has admitted breach of privacy.
“I consider that it has been established that the accused man intentionally caused the plaintiff’s death and that there was no emergency situation or other exculpatory basis. It is also established that he dismembered the body and kept it in his apartment for a long time after the act,” says senior prosecutor Tomas Olvmyr in a press release.
