A 27-year-old woman from the municipality of Stichtse Vecht saw the assault happening and jumped in to stop the perpetrators. She was then also beaten by the pair. After the officers arrived at Vredenburgplein, the perpetrators had already run away towards the station. The man they had abused was no longer present.
