The photo competition is the largest with professional status regarding motifs of pets. By submitting entries in different categories, a jury blindly votes on the images they like best. The five photographers with the highest scores end up in the final, which Sanna Sander managed to do.
In the end, she won the whole competition and it was thanks to a special picture of her own dog, Soleil.
– It is great fun to receive this recognition in this world. It is my great passion, she says.
“Has zero images enlarged”
Photographing dogs is something Sanna Sander has done for many years, and her own dogs are often used as models. It also happens that one of the cats poses at home in the garden.
– Despite that, I have exactly zero enlarged pictures of them in the house, says Sanna Sander and laughs.
