The three teenagers who ran away from a Sis home in the Gothenburg area are still at large.
The police have ended their active search effort, but are working together across the country to follow up on tips.
It was just after lunch on Thursday that three teenagers, all between 15 and 17 years old, escaped from Fagared’s Sis home. They were on their way to school when they ran away from the staff and jumped into a waiting car.
One of them is suspected of having been involved in gang crime, according to the police.
On Friday, they are still at large.
– The active search effort is over. Now you follow up on the tips and ideas you have. We cooperate with several regions in this, so you have a little input here and wherever you think these gentlemen may appear – individually or together, says Hans-Jörgen Ostler, press spokesperson at the police.
TT: Do you think they have left the Gothenburg area?
– It cannot be ruled out. But if we have tips or intelligence reports that say they may be here somewhere, we check those places, but we also work in parallel to check other places at the same time.
