Patric Hörnqvist ready for a prestigious job in the NHL after a tough finish – highly praised by the club manager: “Deeply grateful”

Earlier this year, Patric Hörnqvist put the skates on the shelf.
The time unemployed was not long.
Now he is ready for a new role in the NHL.

Patric Hörnqvist, 36, has played over 900 games in the NHL, with the Florida Panthers, Pittsburg Penguins and Nashville Predators. During that time, Hörnqvist won two Stanley Cup titles, both with Pittsburg. There were 71 appearances in Tre Kronor.

Florida’s general manager Bill Zito has previously been clear that he wants to keep Hörnqvist in the association despite his retirement from hockey.
– Rarely in life can you point to an individual and say what collective significance they have, but in this case you can. He has been a wonderful teammate and a wonderful “Panther”. We have a genuine and deep gratitude for everything he has done for our organization, Zito said during the NHL draft.
