“Ibra” attended a training session together with the head coach Stefano Pioli and also spoke in the dressing room to pep up his old teammates ahead of this week’s Champions League meeting with Newcastle. But not everyone appreciated Zlatan’s unexpected visit.

Ibra draws criticism
The former head coach Fabio Capello directs stinging harsh criticism towards Milan and above all Pioli after Zlatan’s actions.
– Ibrahimovic took the trouble to come on a delicate day like this, says Capello according to the Sportface site.
– If he was allowed to be alone and talk to the players, the coach’s leadership leaves a lot to be desired.

77-year-old Capello has coached Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Juventus almost 20 years ago and is one of the most successful coaches in Serie A. But he has not had a coaching assignment since 2018 and acts mostly as a TV expert these days.
