Pricing for Thursday is set at 1.7 öre per kilowatt hour (kWh) throughout the country. On Wednesday, the price was 2-3 öre in all four electricity areas, and on Tuesday the price was 0.1 öre. Nor was electricity particularly expensive on Monday, ten öre/kWh.
Windy weather with good speed on the wind spinners in both Sweden, Denmark and Germany is the main explanation.
On top of the market price, electricity tax, VAT and electricity grid fee of around one kroner or more are added.
