An apartment door was shot at in Handen south of Stockholm on the night of Monday.
– There were people in the apartment at the time, but no one was injured, says Mats Eriksson, press spokesperson at the police.
The scene has been cordoned off and the police have several units in the area knocking on doors and speaking to witnesses. In parallel with this, dog patrols are searching for suspects and several people have been checked.
No one has been arrested in the case.
Seven people have been shot dead since September 7, all in Uppsala or the Stockholm area.
Whether the act in Handen has any connection to the recent wave of violence is still unclear.
– It is something we are looking at, says Mats Eriksson.
