Four wanted in custody after shooting at mother in Norrköping

On Thursday morning, several shots were fired into an apartment, through the front door, in the Hageby district of Norrköping.

In the home lives a woman who is the mother of a man with connections to Rawa Majid, also called the “Kurdish Fox”.

The woman escaped the shots and survived without physical injuries.

Four people could then be arrested and all have now been requested to be detained by prosecutors. They are suspected of attempted murder and serious weapons offences.

Son arrested in Turkey

On September 6, a man on a moped opened fire on an address in Istanbul linked to the “Kurdish fox” Rawa Majid, 37.

Five Swedish citizens were then arrested by Turkish police on suspicion of having fired back.

According to TV4 Nyhetern’s information, the woman who was shot in Norrköping is the mother of one of the arrested.

Violent incidents which, according to sources, have a confirmed and clear connection to the internal conflict in the Foxtrot network:

  • On September 7 at 01:03 in Gränby in Uppsala. A 60-year-old mother is shot dead in her home. The woman’s son is the 33-year-old man, “Strawberry” who was previously close to “Kurdish Fox” Rawa Majid and was described as his right-hand man. The killing is believed to have taken place on the orders of Rawa Majid.

  • On September 9 at 11:36 p.m an apartment is shelled in Stenhagen in Uppsala. The police’s theory is that the target was Kurdish Fox’s mother-in-law, but that the perpetrators shot at the wrong home.

  • On September 12 at 05:16 is Mogo’s Amanuel Tesfemariam, 23, on his way to work. When he left the apartment in Sala backe in Uppsala, he was shot dead with several shots in the stairwell. The police’s theory is that the perpetrator mistook the person for the wrong person and was actually looking for Kurdish fox’s relatives.

  • On September 13 at 03:46 opened fire on a residence in Stenhagen in Uppsala. A relative of the Kurdish fox lives at the address. No one is physically harmed.

  • On September 13 at 2:34 p.m a suspected dangerous object is found in Stenhagen in Uppsala. The object was located at a residence in the same block where the Kurdish fox’s relative’s residence was shelled earlier the same day. The national bomb protection was later able to establish that the object was harmless.

  • On September 14 at 08:39 an apartment in Norrköping is shelled. Several shots enter through the front door. A woman who lives at the address is the mother of one of the five Swedish citizens arrested in Turkey after a firefight in Istanbul linked to the internal split in the top echelons of the Foxtrot network.

  • The police are investigating the connection between the conflict and another crime that took place in the last week.
