England officially declared Wagner a terrorist organization

In the statement made by the British Home Office, it was stated that Wagner was included in the list of “prohibited terrorist groups or organizations” under British law.

JAIL SENTENCE, ASSETS FREEZING…

Thus, within the scope of the Terrorism Act of 2000, measures such as imprisonment of up to 14 years, freezing or confiscation of assets may be imposed on Wagner supporters.

With the decision, it will also be a crime to attend and support Wagner and his meetings, and to carry coats of arms, logos and flags representing Wagner in public places.

In the statement made by the Ministry on September 6, it was reported that a draft ban order was submitted to the parliament for the Wagner group to be included in the list of banned organizations as of September 13.

In the statement, the reason for the decision to declare Wagner as a banned terrorist organization was cited as the scope of the group’s activities, its threats to British citizens abroad and its aim to support the fight against terrorism on a global scale.
