Several teenagers suspected of attempted murder after shooting in Stenhagen

A teenager, according to information given to SVT 17 years old, was arrested during the night of Wednesday after an alarm about shooting in Stenhagen in Uppsala. No one was physically injured in the incident.

The 17-year-old was arrested on the spot and a weapon was seized. He is now suspected of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offense and is under arrest following a decision by the prosecutor.

The father-in-law of Rawa Majid, also known as the “Kurdish Fox”, is written on the address. Just a few days earlier, another apartment in Stenhagen was fired upon, that act is suspected to have been aimed at Rawa Majid’s mother-in-law.

Additional men arrested in Malmö

During Thursday, two more men, aged 18 and 19 respectively, were arrested in Malmö in the same case. They are also suspected of attempted murder.

– Details about how the arrests took place, and why, I cannot go into, says Sebastian Jonsson, press spokesperson for the police in the central region.

He does not want to provide any further information on the matter.

According to information to SVT, a car must have been stopped outside Uppsala on the night of Wednesday. Four people are said to have been arrested at the time. Weapons and a mobile phone with a picture of a close relative of the “Kurdish Fox’s” former right-hand man, whose mother was shot dead at the beginning of September, were found in the car.
