Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 can use up to 90% of 8-core CPUs, overheating systems.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Update It will be released at the end of this month. CDPR’s chief programmer Filip Pierscinski stated that this update will put a lot of pressure on both CPUs and GPUs.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 Update Will Annoy Us
Pierscinski said the new version of the CP2077 can handle 90% of modern eight-core CPUs. Therefore, PC gamers are strongly advised to check their computers for possible overheating and stability issues.
Cyberpunk 2077 V2.0 will take full advantage of ray tracing and make significant improvements to many of the game’s systems. In other words, yes, this can increase overall CPU usage. Therefore, PC gamers need to be ready for this kind of situation. And if players experience crashing issues during the game, they should double-check their system.
A similar situation was seen when The Last of Us Part I was released. TLOU Part 1 was consuming the CPU for a long time during shader precompilation at the beginning of the game. This may cause crashing issues on some PCs. However, there were no crashes in the detailed tests we conducted with our AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D or Intel i9 9900K systems.
From what we know, Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.0 will improve the game’s police system and include major AI overhauls. Additionally, more than 100 new items – weapons, cyber parts and fashions, numerous new story missions and dynamic activities will be added. This update will also bring NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 support. Additionally, CD Projekt RED will introduce improved vehicle combat, new cyber parts and perks, increased level cap, and new relic skill trees and abilities.
Finally, modder “Half Hogan PL” will be releasing a new version of a Texture Pack for CP2077 in October. My guess is that Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project 2.0 will be optimized for this 2.0 Update.
