Lindex starts selling menopause clothes – aims to improve women’s health

Lindex is a clothing chain with stores all over Sweden. A while ago, the chain launched menstrual panties and maternity panties with absorbency.

Lindex releases menopause clothing

Lindex believes that 86 percent of all women at some point suffer from hot flashes during menopause.

Therefore, the chain has made clothes specially designed for menopausal women with menstrual cycles, which Gothenburg Post was to report on.

– Developing menopause clothing is a natural progression for our femtech brand Female Engineering. Its main goal is to develop innovative products that improve women’s well-being during the different phases of life, says Lindex’s head of communications Kristina Hermansson to Göteborgs-Posten.

Can handle rapid temperature changes

The idea with the clothes is that they should be able to handle the rapid change between heat and cold that occurs in the body when women have contractions.

They should also be able to release heat back during the chills that occur in the body after a rut, writes Gothenburg Post.
