The pre-season camp continues for the Swedish skiing stars.
In a new photo of Linn Svahn and Frida Karlsson, not everything goes according to plan.
“Ambulance, thank you!”, writes Karlsson on Instagram.
The Swedish ski ladies are coming off a strong year. After coming back from his protracted shoulder injury performed Lynn Svahn a stable season with, among other things, two fourth places in the three-mile and the sprint in the WC and several top positions in the World Cup. Frida Karlsson was able to top it off with two silvers and two bronzes in the WC as well as a bunch of first places in the World Cup.
Svahn’s new image
The national team with both Svahn and Karlsson is now in full charge for upcoming competitions. On social media, they have shown how they prepare during the pre-season. Cycling, roller skiing and high-altitude training have been on the schedule, among other things.

The training has taken place in places such as Mallorca, Sognefjellshytta in Norway and on the beautiful Passo di Lavazè in Trentino, Italy. Not bad.
Now several Swedish national team skiers have traveled on to Livigno in Italy for more high altitude training. But everything during the camp does not go perfectly, if you look at Linn Svahn’s new picture on Instagram together with Frida Karlsson.

Karlsson’s plea
In the picture, Svahn is seen holding a Karlsson who looks anything but happy, sitting on the asphalt. The latter has a bleeding wound on his knee.
“Here we are struggling and I have to take care of a drama queen”, writes Svahn to the picture.
“Ambulance, thank you!”, adds Karlsson in the comments with a touch of sarcasm.

The picture attracts both laughter and concern among the comments.
“Oh no, it looks like Miss Karlsson suffered a bout of asphalt eczema… How was the asphalt then?”, writes one user.
“But … don’t you see that there is blood gushing from the knee, it must be in great pain,” writes another.
“Can someone cover Karlsson in bubble wrap,” urges a follower.
“A real hero,” writes another.
