6 Turks lost their lives in an armed attack on a vehicle in the coastal town of Artemdida, near Athens, at around 18.30 local time yesterday. In the news in the Greek press, it was stated that the vehicle in which the Turks were traveling had a German license plate and that the attack was thought to be a gang showdown.
THERE ARE NO CRIMINAL RECORDS IN GREECE
It was reported that 5 of those who lost their lives were inside the vehicle and 1 was outside of the vehicle. It was stated that none of the deceased had a criminal record in Greece and they did not have a weapon on them.
INTERPOL WILL BE ACTIVE
During the investigation at the scene, more than 20 bullet casings were found, and the Greek authorities requested help from Interpol.
In their statements to the police, eyewitnesses stated that they saw a dark-colored vehicle and a motorcycle in the area where the attack took place. The investigation of the case is continuing. (UAV)
