BTH students were awarded for self-developed game

Simon Andreasson and Linus Östergaard have just graduated from the civil engineering program in game development at BTH. During a course they were assigned to develop a computer game, together with five other coursemates they developed Mineral Madness.

It all went so well that they all founded the game studio Whacky Mole together and continued to develop the game – which has now won two prizes at the Swedish Game Awards.

– Of course it’s great fun to win, says Simon Andreasson.

Want to continue

Mineral Madness won in the Best Design and Best Technology categories. The prize is to present your idea to a game development company.

– The goal now is for it to go well and for us to be able to continue working with this in the future, says Linus Östergaard.
