One person has been shot in Helenelund in Sollentuna north of Stockholm, according to the police.
– One person must have a gunshot wound. The perpetrator or persons have left the scene. We are there with a large resource, paramedics are there and care for the injured. We are looking for the perpetrator or persons, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson.
The person was shot on a street in a residential area.
– There are many witnesses at the scene, and a huge amount of work is underway to find out what happened, says Eriksson.
The police have no information about the gender or age of the victim, or the severity of the injuries.
The alarm came at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
