Transparency on asset declarations is a very effective tool to fight corruption, defend the mobilized organizations, who recall that this obligation existed before the Russian invasion, but was suspended by martial law, for security reasons. “ Statements must be public. Immediately. Not in a year », insisted Volodymyr Zelensky in a short video broadcast this Tuesday morning.

After several corruption scandalswhich come in particular from cost the Minister of Defense his job, Oleksiï Reznikov, accused of not having been able to manage several scandals within his ministry, the president finds himself on the front line. Some 78% of Ukrainians consider him directly responsible for corruption. We better understand his eagerness to be exemplary under popular pressure.
