Parts of the Landvetter airport outside Gothenburg were cordoned off and evacuated on Saturday evening after a suspected dangerous object was found by personnel in the security control at the airport.
Shortly before 01:30 on Sunday night, the police announced that the object they had been alerted about was not dangerous to the public and that the operation was ending.
The police write on their website that it is possibly a home-made spare battery, a so-called power bank.
Two women were checked in connection with the finding of the object. They are not currently suspected of crimes.
