Isak broke the goal drought in Swedish crush

Alexander Isak’s almost two-year goal drought in the national team is over. The attacking star netted for the first time in 697 days when Sweden crushed Estonia 5-0 away in the European Championship qualifiers.

Isak headed in 3-0 after a sensitive cross from Ken Sema, brilliant for the day. The goal punctuated the match already in the 39th minute and then Sweden was in full control the rest of the match.

Sweden’s dream of next year’s EC is alive, but four points still separate Belgium and Austria, who are first and second in the group. Austria is waiting at home at the Friends Arena on Tuesday.
