Twenty-three ministers out of 26 are new. The three survivors of the former government are Camélia Ntoutoume Leclercq, who retains her portfolio as Minister of National Education, Hermann Immongault, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, who becomes Minister Delegate to the Transitional Presidency in charge of the Interior and Security, and Raphaël Ngazouzé, who is moving to the Civil Service.

Women occupy a special place. This is the case of the number two in the government, Murielle Minkoué Mintsa, Minister for the Reform of Institutions. Foreign Affairs fall to Regis Onanga Ndiaye. Brigitte General Brigitte Onka Nowa will assume the functions of Minister Delegate to the President of the Transition in charge of National Defense.

Opponent Paul-Marie Gondjout has been appointed Minister of Justice and government spokesperson. The so-called “juicy” ministries go to Marcel Abéké (Oil), Hervé Patrick Opiangah (Mines) and the activist and economist Mays Mouissi, promoted to Minister of Economy and Participations. That of Water and Forests goes to Colonel Maurice Ntossui, close to the president of the transition, General Oligui Nguema.
