A fire has broken out in a police car in the Sofielund area of Malmö.
– The police were at a nearby address and were able to ascertain that there was a fire in the car, says Rickard Lundqvist, press spokesperson at the police.
– Right now we cannot say with certainty why the fire broke out, but the emergency services are on the scene. One can of course suspect that it could be anything from blue light sabotage to vandalism, but right now I have no such information.
The incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, and by then the fire in the car was fully developed according to the police.
