This Friday, Belgium is celebrating the 77th anniversary of the Journal Tintin, which was first published in September 1946. The success has never wavered with a circulation which reached 300,000 copies at its peak. Hergé’s death ultimately led to the disappearance of the weekly in 1988, but he remained remembered.
