(Finance) – In view of the reopening of primary schools scheduled for next week, Motorways for Italy has granted, for all parents employed by the Non-shift group and with children of primary school age, a 2 hours paid leave to accompany your children on their first day of school. The agreement, signed this morning in the presence of the trade unions, – Aspi says in a note – is in continuity with the previous agreements and the improvements already introduced in the new CCNL regarding the topic of maternity and paternity leave, protections for workers with health problems, improvements in the complementary pension system and a strong strengthening of the welfare system, once again confirming the company’s attention to work-life balance and the well-being of workers.
“Our children’s first day at school – he declares Gian Luca Orefice, director of Human Capital Organization and HSE at Autostrade per l’Italia – is a fundamental piece for the education and growth of children, for building the people and society of tomorrow. But it is also an important moment for the family and for each parent: a right that must be protected. The agreement signed today in Aspi is only a small but significant support for each worker, in the wake of our policies in favor of two-parenthood, the strengthening of the balance of life and work times, as well as equal opportunities for growth”.
“This agreement – he adds Antonio Cavallera, head of people management and industrial relations – is another fruit of our constant collaboration with trade unions, a synergy that allows us to know and act effectively on the needs of our workers. A virtuous approach that makes us proud and allows us to inaugurate innovative practices like this.”
This initiative – concludes the note – adds, among other things, a further element to the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, translated into the multiple actions carried out within the team represented by Alessia Ruzzeddu, Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Autostrade per l’Italia.
