The Austrian couple had stayed in a bungalow that was washed away by the rapids yesterday, Wednesday.

Athens News says that another couple was staying in the same place, who sought refuge from the floodwaters on a nearby mountain. However, the Austrian couple had estimated that it would be safer to stay indoors.
