– The ground settlements that caused the work to be paused will be remedied, writes the municipal company Vatten & Miljöresurs CEO Rickard Stenberg in a press release.
The sewage treatment plant should have been ready by the turn of the year, but will be at least a year late.
According to the CEO of Vatten & Miljöresurs, they and the construction company YIT have different views on the cause of the subsidence.
– The dialogue about the cause and responsibility for ground subsidence is conducted separately and in parallel with the ongoing construction work, hopefully further delays will be avoided in the future, he says.
The construction company YIT does not want to give any comments today, but refers all questions to Vatten & Miljöresurs.
Härjedalen’s municipality’s cost for the treatment plant was originally planned to be approximately SEK 180 million.
