At least one person has been killed after Russian drone attacks in the Odessa region in southern Ukraine, the region’s governor, Oleh Kiper, said.
The attacks, which took place during the night of Wednesday, were aimed at the area around Izmail and lasted for three hours, writes the governor on Telegram.
The port city of Izmail is located on the Danube River and has become an important export route for Ukrainian goods after Russia withdrew from the grain agreement.
