A 50-year-old man has been sentenced to forensic psychiatric care for both attempted murder and serious assault after attacking his neighbor with scissors, Smålandsposten writes
The incident occurred in Alvesta in June, when the man unprovoked attacked his neighbor from behind outside his house, right in front of the neighbor’s daughter.
The neighbor had to receive several cuts with scissors and was badly injured, before his brother came to the rescue. The brother was also stabbed several times before they got the 50-year-old under control.
The reason for the 50-year-old’s anger is said to have been that the neighbor refused to let him borrow the car, which led to him exposing the car to vandalism several times.
