(Finance) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) US has briefly grounded all aircraft from the United Airlines, at the request of the same company, due to technological problems. The matter was resolved within minutes, although not many details about the nature of the problem were provided.
At 19.35 (Italian time), the FAA wrote to X that the company had asked it to suspend departures nationwide, and at 19.50 it announced that it had removed the previous stop on the fly to the United States and Canada.
“We are experiencing a system-wide technological issue and are holding all aircraft at their respective departure airports,” United Airlines wrote in X. “Flights already in flight continue to their destination as scheduled.” Also, a few minutes later, she specified: “We have identified a solution to the technological problem and the flights resumed. We are working with affected customers to help them reach their destinations as soon as possible.”
United Airlines Holdings register one decrease of 2.64% and stands at $48.41 on Wall Street, after falling as low as $47.60 following the announcement of the issue.
