At 18:21 the police and emergency services were called to a fire in Dalvik in Jönköping. It is a residence in a multi-family building that was said to have been filled with smoke when the emergency services arrived at the scene.
According to initial information, the fire must have started in a kitchen in an apartment. There are no reports of injuries in connection with the fire.
The police have drawn up a report of public dangerous negligence through fire and technicians will carry out an investigation after the incident.
