Thousands want to accompany bus driver Lars-Åke Kihlberg to work.
– It was somewhat surprising, I started by chance to film my working days and put them on Tiktok, but had no idea how many people want to know what I do during the day, says Kihlberg surprised.
Sundsvall resident Lars-Åke Kihlberg started a Tiktok account where he posts clips about what life as a bus driver can look like.
– My most popular clip will soon have a million views. The clip is briefly about how it looks to me, in the driver’s seat, when you press the stop button in the bus.
Started as a fun thing
But the account grew quickly. Now Lars-Åke has around 9,000 followers, who want to see what everyday life looks like from the perspective of a bus driver. And it can certainly vary, not least in winter when the snow is heavy on the roads in Norrland.
Lars-Åke gets the ideas for the posts during his breaks, so-called downtime.
– I was surprised, I could never believe this when I started, he says.
A lot is about just showing how the job is done. Lars-Åke also takes the opportunity to publish information about possible disturbances on the lines and other things that may be important for road users to find out.
