John Kirby, spokesman for the US National Security Council, says that Ukraine has made remarkable progress in its counteroffensive in the south over the past three days, The Guardian reports.
Ukraine itself states that the troops have broken through the Russian front line in several places. Analyzes from the West have stated that the country has gained several kilometers in the Zaporizhzhya region in recent days.
John Kirby also criticizes the sources in the US who have talked down the offensive, and says that no one can objectively deny Ukraine’s progress now.
