Norfolk home targeted by arsonists four times this year

A Windham area home has been targeted by arsonists for the fourth time this year.

Unknown individuals attempted to set fire to the side of a Windham Center Road residence at shortly after 2:30 am on Friday, Sept. 1. No one was injured in the incident, said Norfolk OPP.

Similar arson attempts were made at the residence on January 22, Jan. 23 and March 22.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate assisted by OPP Forensic Identification Services in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office.

Police are asking residents who reside in the surrounding area to check video surveillance systems to check their footage for suspicious people, vehicles or activity that may be connected to the incident.
