Utrecht – “I got this tattoo from my sister for my birthday. She has it too, just slightly different. We wanted a reference to our roots. Our father is half Angolan, half Portuguese. A big part of our identity is been hidden for a long time. Or maybe… we did our best to hide it ourselves. My sister straightened her hair for a very long time, I always had it, because yes, afro hair… We were not proud of it.”
