A man in his 50s has been arrested after a hit-and-run in Stockholm earlier this week. The man is suspected of gross negligence in traffic and three cases of causing bodily harm, writes Dagens Nyheter.
On Wednesday night, the police stopped a car on the E4 for a check, but the driver refused to stop and a chase ensued.
At Västerbron, the police called off the pursuit, according to the police. Shortly afterwards, the car ran into a taxi at Hornstull.
Four people, including the car driver, were injured in the accident. One of them, a passenger in the taxi, was seriously injured.
The man now in custody has previously been convicted of a large number of traffic offences.
