Carola celebrates 40 years as an artist with a year of touring that is rounded off with a big Christmas show in Gothenburg.
But the confusion is total when she had an idea – which she no longer remembers.

During the first autumn morning of the year, Carola Häggkvist visited Nyhetsmorgon to talk about her upcoming Christmas show in December. There will be a big Christmas concert in Scandinavium in Gothenburg. The place where she holds her concerts is important to Carola, who describes the arena in Gothenburg as wonderfully open. For several years she has arranged Christmas concerts in her barn, but this time she wanted to make a big splash.

– I want to be on the west coast, it’s a lovely venue. It is big! But I want it to include everyone, the whole family, explains the artist in Nyhetsmorgon.

– I can’t wait!

“Is it something secret?”

One Christmas show will be enough for this year, she believes, who during the year toured with “4 Faces”, four tours where four different genres are given space. And there is no shortage of energy. Nor the ideas. In Nyhetsmorgon, things get a little confused when Steffo Törnquist asks Carola about the idea of ​​”Carola land”, which she herself hinted at before the program.

– Wait, where did you hear that somewhere? From me? Carola wonders.
