(Finance) – One delegation made up of some volunteers from Manalive, a non-profit voluntary association, will leave Rome today in the direction of Ukraine. Volunteers will bring humanitarian aid, mainly medicines, together with the solidarity and closeness of their community. As part of the same mission, some refugees, among the weakest, unable to leave the war zones autonomously, will also be brought to safety in Italy.

“In historical moments like the present one, it is not possible to dwell on the political issues that have caused this humanitarian disaster”, Manalive said, who in line with this conviction is once again committed to bringing material and moral help to the millions of innocent people affected. from the war.

The president of Manalive Gianmarco Oddo describes this new important mission of the association stating: “We firmly believe in the strength of solidarity, dialogue and confrontation. Europe must be the bearer of peace and not lethal weapons”.
