Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. In the statement made by the Elysee Palace, the latest developments in Ukraine were discussed during the meeting, which lasted for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
FIRE IN NUCLEAR PLANT
French President Emmanuel Macron asked Putin over the phone about the fire at Europe’s largest nuclear power plant. Putin stated that the responsibility for the events on March 3 lies with Ukraine. In addition, according to the partial ceasefire decision taken in the second negotiation, the evacuation of civilians was expected. Evacuations expected today have been stopped. While the Ukrainian administration attributed the cessation of the evacuations to the Russian bombing, Putin stated that the culprit was Ukraine.
