Samsung an artificial intelligence powered food and recipe platform Samsung Food announced its application. Introduced at the IFA Fair, the platform contains over 160 thousand recipes. The application allows users to discover new dishes and create custom recipes.
In the Samsung Food application, users can also order materials from the website. In the application, which acts as a personalized assistant, users can control their cooking devices, prepare meals with a step-by-step guide and share their favorite recipes on social media. The app uses the extensive database of Whisk, a smart food platform that leverages advanced technology called Food AI. Samsung Food allows users to save recipes to personal digital recipe lists whenever and wherever they want. The application analyzes the recipes and creates shopping lists according to the content. Users can access the Samsung Food service with their Bespoke Family Hub refrigerators, in addition to their mobile devices. Samsung Food also has the “Customize Recipe” feature, which allows users to directly modify a saved recipe in the Food AI portion of the app to better reflect their dietary needs. For example, users can convert a recipe to a vegan or vegetarian version, or make different changes to create a recipe that is more nutritionally balanced or includes ingredients in stock.

Vision AI technology, which is planned to be implemented in 2024, will identify food items and dishes photographed via Samsung Food’s camera and provide detailed data, including nutritional information. APPLICATIONwill be able to analyze foodstuffs and suggest the best recipes to use them.
