After meeting EU foreign ministers at their meeting in Toledo, Spain on Thursday, Kuleba bristles at a question about the pace of the ongoing offensive.
– Criticizing the slow pace of the offensive is the same as spitting in the face of the Ukrainian soldiers who sacrifice their lives every day, says Kuleba.
– I would recommend all critics to keep quiet, come to Ukraine and try to liberate a square centimeter themselves, says the foreign minister.
Inside the meeting itself, Kuleba notes that it was particularly appropriate to ask for more weapons, since the meeting is being held in an old weapons factory that has now been turned into university premises.
But he also has special wishes for help for the countries that still do not want to send weapons to Ukraine, for example Ireland and Austria.
– Feel free to consider armored ambulances to evacuate wounded soldiers from the battlefields. There is a very big need for that, says Kuleba in Toledo.
