The cause of the fire in Johannesburg, which has killed 52 people and injured more than 40, is not yet known.

Firefighter emergency services spokesman Robert Malaudzi told the BBC that some of the occupants were able to get out.
Malaudzi stated that efforts to reach the bodies of other victims continue in the building, which turned into ashes after the fire.
