Party Animals gets Xbox Game Pass approval
Party Animals, which attracted great attention after its announcement in 2019, attracted attention with the next Xbox Game Pass approval. Party Animals is a multiplayer physics-based fighting and party game where players choose from 12 animal characters and fight against each other. While the game seems to draw clear inspiration from Gang Beasts, it comes with more polished visuals and expanded feature set.
Two modes are currently planned for Party Animals. Last Stand is a fighting mode where everyone will take care of themselves, while Snatch Squad is designed as a capture the flag mode. Party Animals has now been announced to PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms and will be playable on all these platforms with Game Pass from day one.
Party Animals announcements drew attention
As part of the all-week long 2023 Gamescom event, several exciting announcements have been made regarding Party Animals. First, Recreate plans to hold three closed betas ahead of Party Animals’ launch later this month.
Three weekend closed betas starting September 1, 8 and 15 will give fans the opportunity to try the game before launch. To gain access, players will need to sign up either on Steam or via the Xbox Insider Hub. Access is limited by invitation and not guaranteed.
The second piece of news is about Party Animals’ pre-order rewards. Those who pre-order Party Animals will receive a costume, avatar, and in-game currency that is the game’s content. Specifically, the costume and avatar will be for Party Animals’ dog Nemo. This character is a Corgi. The costume gives Nemo a tiara and cloak.
