According to Business Insider, Musk’s surprise 4-second participation in the video game tournament was greeted with boos and ‘Bring Twitter back’ slogans. A video shared on the subject by X user Jake Lucky on Saturday has been viewed more than 7 million times on the platform since then.

In the dimly lit video, as a group of commentators discuss the previous match, the camera suddenly shifts to Elon Musk in the audience.

Musk, who seems to be clapping, stays on the screen for about 4 seconds. This leads to loud boos that continue even after the broadcast returns to the match.

“Where does it come from? It can’t be from here, absolutely,” says one commentator, trying to re-attend the audience to the game.

More than 3 million people watched the live broadcast of the tournament on Twitch, the broadcasting platform. The parts where Musk appeared were mocked by X users on social media.
