“This is just rainwater,” says Cecile Knops, looking at the spinning washing machine. The water in the drum comes from a water tank in the garden. When building the house in Amersfoort, Cecile and her husband chose to save as much drinking water as possible. “We want to be more aware of water and thought this was a logical step.”
