Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administrative Administration Mariusz Kaminski announced that they demanded the Wagner Group to leave Belarus immediately after meeting with the Ministers of Internal Affairs of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Stating that both Poland and neighboring countries have been facing increasing immigration pressure on the Belarusian border for months, Mariusz Kaminski said that now thousands of Wagner’s mercenaries have been deployed to the border.
“Two things are needed to stabilize the situation on our border with Belarus. We demand from the Lukashenko regime the Wagner Group to leave the territory of Belarus immediately, and to immediately leave the border line of illegal immigrants who have been piled on the border by Belarusian officials,” he said.
Polish Interior Minister Kaminski said that in case of any critical incident on the borders of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, which are border neighbors with Belarus, these 4 countries will close their border gates with Belarus.
“All border crossings will be closed. We have developed a permanent consultation mechanism. The team we formed will monitor the situation at our borders for 24 hours, evaluate the situation and take the necessary measures if necessary,” said Kaminski, adding that they are working with the exiled Belarusian leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya on ways that Belarusian dissidents can leave the country in case the border crossings are closed.
