After the latest fatal shooting in Christiania in Copenhagen, residents want to see a definitive end to the drug trade – by closing Pusher Street.
This was decided by Christiania’s self-government at a large meeting on Sunday evening. According to spokesperson Hulda Mader, this is the first time that a united Christiania has announced that it wants to close the street.
– It is a big step and it has not been an easy decision, she tells Ritzau.
