In a truck at a rest area outside Nyköping, the police found two stolen luxury cars worth almost three million kroner. On Tuesday, the verdict in the case will be announced at the Nyköping district court, where a Lithuanian man stands accused of aggravated fraud, reports SVT Nyheter Sörmland.
The cars in question are a Porsche worth at least two million kroner and a Dodge Ram pickup worth at least kroner 900,000, according to the indictment.
The police were able to find the cars thanks to a GPS tracker placed on the Porsche.
The accused man is suspected of having received the cars with the aim of taking them out of the country. He denies any wrongdoing and says he acted on behalf of others. The prosecutor requests deportation in the event of a conviction.
