A new strategy game is wowing players on Steam right now, and it’s from a German developer studio that fans of the genre will adore.

What game is it? Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is a strategy game that focuses on stealth. So you can use different abilities to turn off your enemies with deliberate maneuvers from behind.

On top of that, you have the opportunity to stop time in order to plan and initiate your course of action. It is also possible to chain the actions of the various characters together in order to strike as effectively as possible.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew was developed by the German developer studio Mimimi Games and is available since August 17th on Steam, the Epic Games Store, gog.com, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What is Shadow Gambit about? You control a group of cursed pirates who have supernatural powers and are on a quest for a mysterious treasure.

Your journey begins as pirate Afia, who uses special black beads to bring various cursed pirates to life to join her crew. You can have up to eight crew members in total, all of which are playable and have their own personality.

Explore different islands as you journey through an alternate version of the Caribbean. There you will find not only tropical beaches but also pirate cities and magical places.
